Useless advice

We are all walking around giving people advice that need it and tell everyone what to do and how to solve their problems.

What you preach, you have to practise yourself. What is the use of giving advice when you don’t even follow your own? Many say you have to be patience in life and what not, yet when they are waiting in line at the supermarket they count the seconds.

People tell others to be nice and accepting of everyone and not to discriminate, yet when someone is different then them, they will be first one to point out the differences.

Everyone posts on their social media to follow dreams, to go after what they want, to be positive, that happiness comes from within, yet all they do is complaining about their daily jobs and how bad they hate it. How they are unhappy and they are not living the life they wish to live.

If you are a walking spiritual – religious – positive – happy guru, why don’t you take your own advice? Why is it that we have solutions for everyone but ourselves?

We are too scared to look within, and our minds want to occupy the empty space that we have to solve our own problems with someone’s problems. We love to solve other people’s problems, we want to hear more complaining, more rumors, more problems because at least we are turning the focus on someone else.

You can always help others, but don’t forget your own life. We can not forget ourselves, our beautiful souls need healing too. We need someone that can listen to us too. Not hearing our complains, but hearing our pain and help us heal it.

When the time has passed, it will be too late to start thinking about what we could have done, should have done, should have healed, could have tried.

Why is it that on our deathbeds we start thinking about our life, why don’t we think about it now that we are alive!

Monday Motivation

Do you remember guys that I made a video saying how much I regret not enjoying my time in Sydney and did not do what I truly wanted to… Well guess what… I came back to Australia last week, and I couldn’t be more grateful for it.

First week was mainly getting over my jetlag, I had troubles sleeping at night or staying awake during the day.

Now that I have asked the universe for another chance to still go back to Sydney and do all the things I wanted to do and explore, I will not let this go to waste!!! I have regret it once and I made a mistake, I am not planning to do it again, yes, trust me. The feeling of regretting something is too painful. Although I am happy for whatever happened, like I said, lesson learned 🙂 .

For my Monday Motivation blog for today, I would like to remind you all, if there is something that you really want to do and you have put your mind on doing it, just go for it. It is not easy to regret things afterwards, trust me. If you feel like you need some guidance and some help from a higher power, just ask the Universe and let it lead you to whatever you desire. Don’t forget to follow the Universe, it knows the way 😉 .

Side note: Never be sad when whatever you asked for is not coming, the greater powers might have planned something bigger for you, or they are giving you a detour as they want you to collect a few more skills along the way.

I am happy that what I asked for came to me, I know that this is where I need to be now or else I was somewhere else. This is my chance to enjoy like never before! ❤

Year 2015 and a half

Do you remember the blog I posted a few months ago about goals and how to have a great 2015 (click here)?

Well this post is about evaluating what you have done and how you can still make 2015 a great year!

Look back at your goals list and see which once you have already accomplished or still working on. Some made an actions plan which means the things they are going to do to help them reach their goals. A few evaluation questions that you have to ask yourself when taking ANY further steps.

  • Are these still my goals and actions I want to take and reach?
  • How far have I came?
  • What have I learned from (the wrong approach, decisions, strategies) it?
  • How can I improve my second half year of 2015?
  • Is it SMART?
  • Do I have to adjust my plans?
  • Can I add more goals/action plans?

Essential questions! If you have some of your own or related to your goals please add them and write everything down in your journal if you have kept one. You can also just write it on a piece of paper. But it is important to have it written down somewhere (HAND WRITTEN PLEASE) and carry it with you.

Look every once in a while and use it as a compass to your goals.

And never forget to thank yourself for the past few months and the progress (even if it is VERY SMALL). You are doing great!
